In some places they call guys “older brother” not Actually meaning biological brother I think in China and Korea they do that

it might be the translation since in korea "big brother" is something to call men you're on friendly terms with OR it could be she's trying to win her brothers (familial love) so she doesnt keep dying and so she could get her revenge.
