Nonononono... i mean... he is 19 you know? And if you read chap 1 again... the one inside that body... the one who became Nina cage... is an adult woman... so she is not acting rational, she is acting her age. Hence she sees Alex as a kid and is more interested in the older ones.
About being parental figures... cof... you do remember she is in the world of a novel right? A TL smutty one about those two... xD

bruh, okay first of all
i do not ship her with the king. i prefer her with alex.
i see the king and saintess as mother and father figures for her.
and secondly, i love how the main character is head strong. she thinks like an adult not to mention she is rational. she also doesnt get swayed by fleeting emotions. which brings me to saying that i hope she manages to figure herself and manage her other friendly relationships before diving into a romantic one.
