Hm I think it doesn't matter anymore at this point, because my other version is also uploaded here. Actually I only noticed it after my release (Whatever) that there was somebody else releasing it a day before me, which didn't really matter much to me but then I noticed the mistakes and it wasn't just a few, so I wanted to let people know.
Not really, since there are still weird grammatical mistakes...
Why is it Mr Usui? Why not Usui-san? So weird to call your boyfriend "mister" lol
Perhaps I should have elaborated my translation note longer so people would get it better. Basically in this oneshot, the character's tone is especially formal and polite, almost every dialogue, except perhaps one or two, the characters always addressing each other very politely. And whenever the main character described his feelings, he will always do it in a formal/literary tone, I chose to keep 'Mr Usui' to imitate the classic English literary style. In addition, the choice of words in this one shot is particularly formal, the writing style just exudes that kind of ambience. Always the description was written like in a novel style as well. It's not about how unnatural it is for the main character to keep calling his boyfriend Mr, it's how the character's personality is. I hope my explanation is clear to you. Please feel free to ask about anything regarding my translation's choice.
....oh the revelation....forgive me...when I was translating it, I was focusing on converting it to the most appropriate English equivalent I could do. And since it was originally quite literary I just didn't think that this would become a problem....o.o My qcers were quite pleased with what I did and all so I didn't expect this problem. But regardless, I probably would still keep at it even if I was aware of this, I would have felt uncomfortable to me to if I didn't try to be as faithful to the original as much as possible.
FYI, there are still some mistakes in your translation but they're more of the grammar variety. If you'd like a second pair of eyes to help you, let me know. I'm a professional editor and while it might cause issues with my job if anyone found out I were helping you with what is essentially copyright fraud I like to live dangerously. Let me know. :)
This release has so many wrong translations, shouldn't somebody tell them that they are wrong? >.>
