she was shown to be smart from the beginning when she figured out how to make tools and plant grain having her figure this out isn't that shocking since earlier she was the one to teach how to grind food so that it turns out right

She knows how to make stuff but beside fron that her ability to think and connect dots in most situations just isnt there.

She's actually pretty smart in the novel. Artist just leaves so much out making this webtoon feel hollow. What wasn't shown is that she's been suspicious and second guessing some of the things happening with Muir already, so when she finally saw what happened she was able to put two and two together.
So the author now wants her to be considered smart cause she's boring without personality but still manages to get all the men.
