Tbh I think people ship him with an idealized version of Seungho, one that, on the future, has actually changed drastically for the better and has become a truly good person who respects and loves Na-Kyum.
I mean, I know this is fiction, but I love Nakyum so much I don't want him to end up with his torturer? Because if that's how things are gonna go, how about he ends up with inhun instead? Or Jihwa?
Even if he becomes the perfect man, that won't erase everything he's done? Rape and abuse, not only physically but also mentally, aren't things that just disappear as time goes by.
Looking at it from that perspective makes sense. Since this is fiction I never considered that part.
Plus tbh I tend to be the type that typically easily forgets the past good or bad so it slipped off my mind how horrible this stuff is irl and the scars it leaves etc.
