The manga is a rape fantasy. Some of us here (author included) *like* seeing Doona or Wookyung beat up Minho. It’s been clear for many chapters now that’s the theme. And the comments are the place to talk abt it. The people who should keep their thoughts in their head are the ones like above who come back every update, read it even tho they supposedly hate it, and keep bringing real rape into the convo.

Idk about others man but real rape isn't really the issue here for me as the op. It's the fact that damn,,, this manga DIDN'T start off being a rape fantasy. The first middle of the story and even the eay the story was maketed promised BDSM and a femdom, so, plot-wise, narrative wise, of course I'm going to be disappointed when the story does a 180 and decides that instead of being about fun S&M situations to being rapey (if it was at least taken seriously instead of the author pretending there is nothing wrong with Doona's actions that'd be a different story, I mean, this has around 100 chapters and it does look like they are trying to have some kind of character development, so ignoring this stuff is just poor storytelling. I don't mind rape in porn without plot, but this isn't pwp. Just because it's an erotic manga doesn't mean I shouldn't care about the storytelling.) That's why I actually am REALLY ENJOYING the latest chapters, because Doona is learing to ask for consent while still keeping stuff really hot, which is why I'm still reading despite the manhwa having a HUGE rough patch. Heck, the flashbacks were great for me too and mostly enjoyable except for the fact I couldn't stop thinking that Doona and the other guy would become rapists. As a reader, I am allowed to like some aspects of the manhwa and dislike others, and talk about both the good and the bad in the comments. I don't enjoy the rape here. It happened, it was bad, I honestly don't see how people can justify it bc Minho was an asshole, he still looked really in pain and I just felt bad for him, but it's over and hoepfully the manhwa will get better from him. The only reason I commented this is bc despite it happening chapters ago it's still the only thing the comments talk about. And honeslty? I don't blame them. It was upsetting for most people, bc it wasn't what we were promised from the early chapters and premise.
I enjoyed the early story too, the change WAS unexpected. But still, there have been multiple rape scenes. At one point, the manhwa actually just called it "rough bdsm", so I don't get why that's not enough for readers to drop it entirely if they're really against it. (Also just a warning, [SPOILER] I've seen people say Doona goes back to rape again [SPOILER END]).
You're allowed to dislike this and talk about it yeah, but as someone who likes it, it's annoying that majority of the comments are always negative. Even now when the plot is about consent, there's complaints about earlier. Then it's just insulting that those same commenters will reply that anyone who likes it is endorsing rape/should get help/is sick.
Also about character development, a lot of the choices have been confusing but I think they just changed what story they wanted to tell. It's not immediately a bad story because it doesn't condemn rape. It's exists for entertainment, not to be a moral example.

You clearly don't understand the weight of your words. If you like the turn in the story is ok, but when you say that such a crime like rape (even if it's fictional) "is hot"... I'm not saying you condone it in rl, but your words are hurtful and you already hurt people with your 'joke', and I know you don't care, you don't care if you trigger someone's trauma, you are having fun typing that while someone is in pain by your words. The story wasn't about rape, there was no warning before things went down, that's why there are so many people rejecting the story
How are you "rejecting the story" by lurking in the comments. Wookyung raped Minho in ch 49, then Doona did like 20 chs later. It's now up to ch 91. I EXPECT for people still here to not be "in pain" by the manga or my words. If you are, it's not my problem. You're an adult with full autonomy. No one is responsible for you. If you don't like something, you leave. Yeah, I'm having fun because that's what you're actually meant to do with entertainment.
