If she had succeeded in reviving Osiris permanently, Maat and the Ennead could've had the chance to punish him. But Maat said she and divine justice can't reach someone in Duat. It's hiding away "safely" in Duat, out of the reach of the "living gods", that lets him get away with everything he's done.
Oh, and I think there's a possibility Isis lied just to infuriate Seth and she only took Osiris' seed, same as Neftys had done in order to have Anubis, and didn't actually have sex with him. But we still have to wait for that.

I know all of them are fucked up but one thing i dont understand is why isis hate seth but love osiris. She hates seth for trying to rape her and made her suffer but osiris also raped seth and made him suffer so why did she try so hard to revive him, made love with him and even had horus.... Or am i missing something?
