It pains me to see a passive quiet motherly caretaker who has no life on her own and can be easily pushed around by others.
Okay I know it's just a cliche trope, and it can be cute, but I'm really getting tired of the whole "oh she's the impregnable fortress, the cold ice queen, oh how interesting, I'm gonna seduce/conquer/court her etc. etc." Not saying anything bad about this specific manga, but just in general, it reminded me of it.
