If I could like your comment a million times, I would. The amount of comments I see that gets mad at the plot for being the way it is, is just too depressing, like if u don't like this grim, dark, angsty plot then why keep coming back? go read something lighter and fluffier then... I swear people keep complaining that the toxicity in nakyum and seungho's relationship is what apparently ruined the plot for them, but for me its THEIR toxic relationship with this manhwa, lol if you hate it so much then why keep coming back and leaving mean comments over and over again. It's so annoying especially to the manhwa's actual fans and its author ://
It’s the curse of every popular story really, there was a time that POTN’s comment section used to be mostly about people actually discussing the story, posting theories and expressing somewhat useful stuff. Now that POTN is one of the most popular manwhas out there it keeps getting flooded by these type of comments because it’s “cool” to cancel something, even a fictional character. Killing Stalking went through the exact same thing. People love to drag the story and the main characters every single chapter saying the same stuff and that probably won’t stop till the end of the story.
Yeah exactly. There are so many fluffy and clichey stories on mangago, I also read some of them, but that's another genre. People can't expect everything to be fluffy and cute. I do see developments and changes in every chapter that is published and I can't stop waiting for the next update to see what will happen next. It hurts me to see that the author decided to change the story that was originally written so much because people flamed her and criticized her work. And I'm glad she already made it clear that the next work will only be based on what SHE wanna write, that it will be so much darker and all. I mean, it's HER work. I know her fans are important but what kind of fan would go to their "idol" to tell them that what they creating is horrible and they should change it? Idk I just find it very disrespectful. I understand people not liking toxic stuff but then it's not the type of manwha they should read, as you said. I agree with you, it's their toxicity that makes the plot different. I'm curious to see how they will find their own happiness with time.
The problem is that negative comments are taking over. And it's not even about mangago only anymore which is terrible. I mean as you said comments should be constructive. Even if someone doesn't like something, the minimum is being tactful saying it. But people seem to ony care about what THEY wanna read and not what the author wants to write. I bet it is harder for her to rewrite the story since she is changing it while she's already updating the chapters every week.
I do remember the same thing about Killing Stalking! But now that it's finished, when I talk about it with friends the only thing they can say is that it was a masterpiece even if it was dark af. I hope it will be the same with this and haters will stop annoying the hell out of everyone
UGH SO TRUE!! I don't know which app brought this type of audience in here but I hate it!! Every yaoi that has rape in it now gets canceled caused it "sexualizing, romanticizing rape" Bro honestly f off, how the hell are we gonna get psychological manhwa/mangas then?? How the hell are we ever gonna get dark/grim/mind breaking plots if people always get so sensitive with a plot's grim tone. An example would be Harada's works. A few years back people would PRAISEEE those yaois for being dark and ming-boggling, fuck now the comment section is just filled with a bunch of whiny babies complaining that its apparently "too fucked up" and is "romanticizing rape" ughhh have u never read a dark novel/manga before? not everything can be ever so fluffy... ://
Yes!!! I definitely think most of these people who keep complaining are underage. Ironic because they’re not even old enough to read this but they still feel a disturbed sense of power to come here every single week to shout hate on Seungho and point fingers at toxicity. Most mature readers know what they’re in for and that, as we discussed here, this has never been a fluffy story.
I just hope the author manages to keep strong on this wave of hate.
Every time I come here to reread the chapters I remain dumbfounded by the comments.
Why are there so many people hoping to see Nakyum and Seungho living like the world was made of unicorns and rainbows constantly? Or hoping that Nakyum will leave Seungho forever coz "he doesn't deserve him". Ok and then what? End of the story? Nice manwha!
I only see a few people here who actually understood the nature of the manhwa. This is not a light story. If you can't accept it and can only criticize it I recommend you just stop reading and come back only to read the end of it or, maybe, never come back in order not to disappoint/hurt yourselves (or the author with your unproductive criticisms).
What happened in this chapter is imo a big turn in this story and yet people can't stop ranting saying "awww poor nakyum he needs to run away awww poor one I hope he finds someone better". Idk it just makes me mad to see that no one appreciates the story as it is. Even if there are some flaws there is no need to flame or insult the author ot whatever. From my experience there are so many "more violent" popular mangas and I don't see all this drama in the comment section there. Just stop for a moment to appeciate the author's work and get out of your rainbow bubble. I never expected, not even once, a cute love story out of this, just go back to read the first chapters again and think about how clear it was that the story was gonna be twisted af.
