I literally came to comment about it, I just love how the ending was a poly relationship and the prince was absolutely okay in receiving his two wives and actually loving them and do his best for them!

Maria Loves the prince and Shion but knows she marrying the prince will make it hard to see Shion as the queen so unfortunately feels that she must choose only one of them ┗( T﹏T )┛
Prince Leon out of duty married Maria and in this timeline got to know her properly(thus more interested in her) and was introduced to Shion as her Adorable friend (maybe he had a slight interest early on like the initial scenario?) but with the Mc Shion's goal of staying neutral they all became friends but he later felt jealous of Maria's love for Shion and thus relented and felt the need to give up on his love to make his two friends happy （/TДT)/
Meanwhile poor Shion trying her best to just live peacefully held herself back because she grew so close to her best friend and just wanted her friend to be happy with the prince unlike the game scenario and they all became great friends up till near the main event we see take place and our Mc settles it easy with polygamy already being a thing in their kingdom.
There's potential for the whole polygamy thing to get messy like all those other stories about concubines/royal sidegirls/etc. BUT I'd like to believe that their kingdom is relatively peaceful enough and that these three are all close enough to trust in each other even if weird rumors started flying around so they can live a peaceful royal life togetherლ(´ڡ`ლ)
You summed it up perfectly, it was well handled in a sense that we can see they can all care for each other and have a healthy polyamorous relationship.
It was also added that the royal family and kingdom accept polygamy, and as Shion is a saintess she's more than qualified to be the second wife (it was also shown she studied to become queen following Maria). I believe they'll do great ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

this might be the 2nd yuri collection I'v read but the ones here seem a bit more along the lines of friendship than anything closer to a full on relationship like the 3rd chapter (Yay for consensual polygamy with a balance of love throughout the parties involved)
On the bright side, the prince in ch 3 and 5 looked reasonable and funny enough the one in ch 3 was really cute how jelly he looked that his fiance liked her best friend more to being happily married with his two wives and looking forward to bringing them gifts.
