I’m sorry, but Ian and Ray do end up together. However it’s not without a few more trials....

The princess finds out about the relationship after Ian gets sick and has some goons kidnap and send him to a far off town. There Ian rediscovers himself by painting forgeries (at least I think they’re forgeries) to make money. Back with Ray, he discovers that Ian has been kidnapped, but (I think) the princess threatens him so he stays with her until there’s an uprising from the people against the throne and Ray gets away. He goes looking for Ian, but has no idea where Ian is and after leaving everything to his sister is becomes almost penniless. After searching for a long time, he sees a painting that matches Ian’s style, he asks where the merchant got the painting and goes to the shop and faints upon seeing Ian; due to exhaustion and illness. Ian nurses Ray back to health, they talk things over and decide to stay together in the small town. I forget what Happens to Henry, but I think Nick goes back to the mansion and continues to teach Ray’s sister how to paint, and I think the two end up together.
i’m sorry but i genuinely cannot help but hate raymond. i know that his past has definitely played a part in making him the way he is today, but goddamn that bitch knows what he’s doing. it’s disgusting. i love ian, but he is getting on my nerves too. i wish he would just realize life can be good without raymond. i honestly hate their relationship. i hope they don’t end up together because i am just not seeing the potential.
