Right? I'm sure alllll the readers of a reincarnation power fantasy are suuuuuuper upset the MC is OP.
I'm not mad about him being OP. There's actually reasons why he is OP, and that doesn't bother me. The fact that his female apprentice who has been training and learning the entire time he;s been dead, is wack. MC was one of the strongest in his time, and he's super OP now bc the level of magic mastery is lower. He was able to overcome his lack of talent or natural ability, but I'm assuming the apprentice doesn't have that handicap and she had far more time to hone her abilities.
TLDR; MC being OP is fine and makes sense narratively, his apprentice still being weaker than him doesn't make sense.
I assume the MC is the originator of most of those techniques so he knows the ins and outs of it; maybe that's why he seems so OP...
He was dead for 400 years while she was training, and he's still better somehow? She's been training with his methods for longer than he has been alive, but he still needs to be better huh? Alright I'm done.
