Someone else has already uploaded the chapter. That always happens. Always. If someone says they're dropping a comic due to the authors wishes, another group or person will take it.
In those cases the author sees it and stops working on the manhwa. They drop it since they are depressed and lack money..... This happened with Pian Pian and the author even had a lawsuit.
I bought the Korean chapters on lezhin because I considered it a fair trade for getting to read the English translation here. But if the fan translation is dropped, then I have no incentive to do that. I can't read Korean, and really can't afford to buy chapters I can't read. I'd prefer to hold out for an English translation down the line instead. Fairly certain I'm not going to be the only person thinking that way. :(
