Yup I agree, it wouldn't be so nice if Fikar were of royal lineage (even if after this chap I ready do think he's somewhat of an illegitimate son of the royal family)...
But seeing him, if they found out about it, Fikar would still refuse to move out away from FL and her happy go lucky life in the city
