So I said it in a question wayyyy back but it has to do with the original story. So basically I think that lehman is a yandere/just obsessed with our fl and has been manipulating things behind the scenes, even in the original novel, because think about it. Her character was exiled/imprisioned (most in this situation are killed) and sent to where governor lehman had been stationed in the original novel. I kinda forgot the rest of my argument that I had posted but I unfortunately cant find it so this is the gist.
