IMO, it takes away from the story and leads to common couple troups about relationships. Some stories just dont need them to be good. For cold calculating characters I enjoy them because they are cold and not easily distracted. Also im sick of 95% of adventure stories especially iseiki having a harem or a big boob girl who is either the princess or a social outcast learning about love and trust. . Again just my opinion

IMO romance sub-genre itself isn’t the issue but bad execution is. There’re times when the plot were already great as it is but then the sub-genre dominates the plot, disrupting the good flow if not destroying it. Or sometimes the FL design itself was the problem. big boobs but contribute nothing to the plot aside from being cute and pretty, worse if she keep sidetracking the plot because she’s a damsel in distress.
Exactly my point! The plot quickly derails into this sub plot romance full of troupes that add nothing. Or she is just as strong as him but quickly fades to this useless damsel. If the story is good and the character is fully developed romance is not needed imo
What is the problem with romance the main theme is action so why are people always crying about romance like it's not THAT big of a deal it's so annoying how some of you guys bitch ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
