Well it is just a pen mindlessly given to him by his ex. They mutually broke up so there was no bad blood between them. They even hung out whenver they are free. Safe to say they are still friends but not lovers. The pen is probably just an insignificant object of the past that he mindlessly have. So the pen is pretty much there, living in his house, rent free and unbothered. Mc was just quite uncomfortable of the coincidences of being a lover of his old crush ex. And the pen was even something he picked out to be gifted for his old crush's ex

Not all break ups end up bad. The two share a healthy friendship free from resentment and the ex whom the Uke had a crush on was straightforward and even told the ML pretty much was in a relationship with his job which is why they broke up. No harm. No foul lol. People often have things from past relationships. I mean it's just a pen that unfortunately the Uke coincidentally picked out. Now if it was a personal item, say underwear...then we'd have a problem. And honestly, there wouldn't of been a problem had the Uke just asked instead of running away and avoiding the ML.
