ive read the novels so spoilers i guess?
1. if this follows the novel faithfully (and so far, it has) it will definitely turn to yaoi. jaeyoung and sangwoo’s (few) sex scenes are sooooooo impossibly long and its described really detailed too. and all of them are hot as hell, so no way it would stay shounen ai.
2. also, the artist HAD to include them because (surprise) jaeyoung and sangwoo started out as friends with benefits.
3. we’d probably guessed already that jaeyoung might be an insatiable and aggressive beast with unlimited sex drive, and funnily enough, SANGWOO TOO, just as much as an insatiable, aggressive beast with unlimited sex drive as jaeyoung. and also, sangwoo is so honest in bed, i mean yes he’s honest on the daily and he doesnt filter his words, but if you think that he’d be shy and timid in bed, you are 10000000% wrong.
4. im quoting this from the novel “they were beasts in heat every time they saw each other” and no statement could perfectly describe their dynamic as best as this.
5. sangwoo took initiative in a lot of things. he was the first one who kissed jaeyoung, he was the one who asked to have sex, he was the one who confessed first.
6. jaeyoung is incredibly whipped to sangwoo to the point where its kind of embarrassing to read. he spoils sangwoo so much, he’s so clingy to sangwoo, he ended up agreeing to do the game project with sangwoo only because sangwoo called him ‘hyung’, he decided to continue w the project despite their initial teamwork being horrible simply because sangwoo finally praised him (after relentlessly criticizing jaeyoung’s character designs), he hugs and kisses sangwoo a lot (kisses on the eyes, nose, cheeks, chin, and most often: forehead), he drove 3 hours to seoul in the middle of a family business JUST BECAUSE sangwoo said that he misses jaeyoung (keep in mind theyve only been apart for less than 2 days, these stupid lovebirds), etc etc
7. sangwoo is also a fanatic when it comes to jaeyoung. he’s easily jealous, he literally has a folder in his computer titled ‘JANG JAEYOUNG’ and its filled with his photos, videos, musics and things that jaeyoung likes, he’s basically always turned on whenever he sees jaeyoung especially when jaeyoung is in the middle of doing what he does best, which is working on his designs and sketches, sangwoo would often end up staring at jaeyoung with heart eyes bc he’s so impressed at jaeyoung’s talent in art.
8. they would end up formally dating in the middle of volume 4 (rn we’re at the middle-end part of vol 1) but they were already lovey dovey and clingy ever since volume 3.
9. be patient i guess? we still have a looooooooooooong way to go lol. the novel has 4 volumes + 3 extra chapters, but now we’re still at volume 1. a lot of the crucial developments in the relationship happen in volume 3 and 4. in vol 2 their dynamic is still really rough.
