The host thing isn't real.
dunno what grisha being a titan shifter has anything to do with that lol, you want him to just turn into a titan in the middle of a city and run around trying to find her?
Eren was the one who went off by himself to find and save mikasa, grisha didn't "allow" him.
It is was just because Eren wanted to save her.
They found dead bodies together and grisha just left eren to inform police. He could let eren do that and he could rescue mikasa himself . And by being titan shifter i mean he could fight in his human form and still all his wounds could've healed.
It was a huge risk to abandon a 9 year old child in middle of nowhere where some murdurer

bruh grisha didn't tell eren to get mikasa, and he didnt even know where she was either. And i'm pretty sure he didn't think eren would go pyscho mode and track down and then murder the kdnappers. Also, he most likely wouldnt want eren wandering around in the woods alone trying to find the police, eren probably doesnt even know where the police are. Safest thing would just be for him to stay put.
Again, grisha didn't know where the kdnappers were, and he can't do hand to hand combat. Would be very risky, might as well just go to the police, that is a MUCH sane solution.
And I'm confused on why this is such a big deal to you?
It 's a big deal for me because i think maybe grisha was involved in killing mikasa's parents! Ok maybe it is a bit too much ...
And yes staying put was the best option but he didn't do that.So He was a ignorant father
But what if founding titan eren made grisha to do so in order to become mikasa's host?
Eren wasn't the founding titan yet not until he ate Grisha. Grisha probably found out that Eren was gone but he couldn't leave either cause he had to get the police over here. Either way, Grisha isn't responsible at all. Grisha had a family as well you know he stayed with Eren and Carla for years and Mikasa and her family was a good friend to their family. The only time Grisha lost control was when Carla died and he made Eren eat him.
Plus geisha is supposed to be a doctor why would he know hand to hand combat. That would make the police suspicious of geisha which would’ve been taking a risk. Everyone in the village knows grisha is a doctor.
The fact that Eren saved Mikasa when they were 9 is absurd . I mean Grisha was a titan shifter and he himself could have saved Mikasa easily .So why would he allow Eren to do that ? Did he wanted Eren to become Mikasa's host?
Or there is another reason?
