Is Unanimous relatable to anyone?

I really like this story and the characters were really well developed. The only character I never felt any connection to was unanimous. The author is aro/ace themselves so they must have used their own experience in this character but unanimous just felt very lackluster in comparison to the other characters to me. Unanimous does not want a romantic connection, but it seems unreasonable that they want to completely isolate themselves not even having platonic connections. While I can still tell they care for people like making those cafe au lait for the group, it was still very cold when they didn’t go to Daichi and Saki’s wedding. Even disregarding the flying powers, the way they were described as this perfect mythical being without any earthly attachments seemed very unrealistic. I don’t know do other people relate to unanimous? Or am I just missing vital part from the story for their characterization?

I can somewhat relate to her ( i dont think i'm ace (still questioning) but resonate with the ideas) i don't want to get tied to relationships (romantic, sometimes even platonic ones; tbh i stopped expecting to less disappointment but i do want connections ) for a long term and i don't see myself settling in marriage ( heck i dont believe in that too) but i dont want to be isolated or like she said she couldn't ride in ship w/ diff ppl and diff values, i dont think that way. i like how when T even tried to reason why she's like that ( "b/c she's ace"), she said being that way isn't everything.... i love how they vocalize life isn't just about being this and living out that way ( it's just one aspect/part of yourself but it's not ALL of you). i've liked people ( little to alot/4yrs) before but i'm not sure if i've "fallen in love" sometimes i tried to convince myself i did just to fit into society's expecation of first loves and all. in all honesty im confused af but im not rushing myself to think some type of way

i believe you’re just hung up on the part that she’s asexual, that’s just a part of her. as a whole, she’s a person that doesn’t like labels, and prefers to isolate live freely, that’s all there is to it.

Thank you both for your responses! I had originally thought that it wasn’t because unanimous was ace that she wanted to live freely like that and it was just her character but then I was reading through a lot of the comments and found that a lot of people related to her experience completely as an ace person. This suprised me a bit because of how unique and unrealistic she seemed to me.
