Yeah, people just use religion as an excuse to be homophobic
there are alot of hardcore anti lgbt christians (and christian cults) in South Korea tbh. like its unfortunate but that was Real as hell what we saw depicted in these recent chpts. when Yeonwoo said he was a pastor's son i was just like OH HONEY cause tbh...neo age accepting of queer people churches are just not...rly a thing in SK rn. (they arent all as milititantly anti gay but none of them are like We LOVE ALL PEOPLE~~ at least they are extremely rare if they exist at all). so yeah. congrats to Yeonwoo for getting to study abroad.
I live in an extremely homophobic country myself so I know how real and messed up it is. I really wish things like homophobia, sexism and racism didn't exist. The world would be such a peaceful and beautiful place without them.
I agree. I know communities like religion have been made for a purpose of comfort and hope when the older times seemed to lack them, but lately I wonder if it still serves the purpose.
