It’s cause it’s fiction which is supposed to help us escape reality if it’s exactly the same there’s no point, and I don’t think most people want to see toxic couples if they had a choice

I think love is more complicated than everyone thinks. For example, I choose every day to be married to my husband. I'm not saying that I don't love him, but we choose to stay together. Also, calling every little thing toxic is wrong. We are all selfish, stubborn, rude, manipulative etc but we can also be kind, smart, pretty, and selfless too. You know which character should die in a ditch though? Yahwi from Yours to Claim. THAT guy is a toxic shithead. Lets use him as an example of who NOT to be.

i agree with you but the thing is sometimes the story is written so that the unhealthy aspects of the relationship are not acknowledged and instead normalized. obviously not every relationship is perfect, as photaku said, humans make mistakes, say shit, hurt their loved ones, it's natural, but it sometimes shouldnt just be overwritten and excused. like there's been some things ive read where they forcefully do things to their partner or say horrible words which just shouldnt be excused with emotions. but i do get where youre coming from, sorry if i brought up a more extreme example which strays from your original comment.

I dropped it around episode 20. I see updates on Insta or see the comments blow up, so I pop in front time to time. I think she took her psycho character from the end of A Guy Like You and molded Yahwi out of him.

Why do people complain when the story doesn’t have a healthy couple like, 90% are unhealthy why do you think people break up, have divorces, fight. There’s such a small percentage of people that have a healthy relationship. Like sometimes it’s toxic but that’s what suits them. That’s why it’s so rare to see a happy healthy elderly couple.
