Fully agree w/ you on this. There’s always going to be elements of ‘sexual fantasies’ in both mangas and manhwas. Be it ‘rape fantasy’ or ‘dominant-submissive’. It’s like a known thing. Sure we do have progressive, diverse and uplifting stories sprinkled here and there there but majority yaois are always built from some form of fetishisation.
I really don’t get all these reactions of being shocked or disgusted.
It’s not a fluffy sweet story. It never was. Why we act like we been blindsided by the author wherein we’re literally in chapter587653 and the premise is still the same: It’s always just going to be about some sort of conflict and then ends with rough sex.
This is not the story we go to if we’re in the mood for cute romantic stuff.
It’s like ordering mcdonalds but you’re vegan. You’re ordering the big crazy size burger just to post about it in twitter and rant about how unethical and unhealthy the burger is. What is the sense there.
Ummm... chile, n e ways. The comments are talking about how this is rape and stuff like, you really think that these type of manhwas wouldn’t have those things in them??? Like it’s been like this from the beginning of their relationship -_-. But yeah that doesn’t make it anymore acceptable to do what he just did, but like don’t read these types of manhwas/manhua/mangas if you don’t expect to have these type of topics in them bc you yourself is being toxic asf by complaining in the comments. Also communication is key in relationships!!!!
