Yeah and that's the best case scenario. Worst case scenario they try to off you the moment they don't need you anymore since the power of the hero is such a big threat and such bullsh*t.

As much as i like the king(he's nice), please reject the hero position. There's nothing good about being a hero. You have no freedom, you are tied to ungodly amount of commitment & responsibilities, forced into politics, & the next thing u know, everyone is forcing their daughter to u (especially the princess ) & if u reject you'll be making enemies w/ them (great logic from the nobles)
