The odd case where FL really does not care about the plot, goes off and doesn’t something else, and ends up dragged into things regardless.

Reading this kind of story is one thing but do otome games like this even exist and, if so, what’s the appeal? (Don’t answer that, I already know and understand.)

I have to admit I was thrown for a loop when it turned out the title referred to literal cannibalism.

Interesting concept but the sheer volume of exposition is almost intolerable, no matter how interesting the story.

Somehow less weird than I hoped it’d be.

Reminded me a lot of The Tyrant Wants a Better Life in the best of ways. MC is not a good person, sympathetic in ways, but not "good." When she regresses, she has to figure out what she did wrong and why, and in doing so grows as a person. Her road to redemption is difficult because there's no compromises to her initial personality and it's that combination that gives this series a grounded realism other villainess redemption stories lack.

Shockingly emotional and family oriented for a MC who never knew "family" in her previous life. Even though her brothers on the cover look like MLs, they're really just step-siblings who act like actual siblings (this isn't Beware of the Brothers). It's also fucking hilarious.

Girl has had enough and wants her revenge and I want her to have it.
