This is a list of comics, mostly het, that have an unusual female lead. Most of the manga on this list will involve a girl who isn't conventionally attractive (considered ugly or fat by characters in the manga) and girls who display "undesirable" personality traits that are embraced, rather than rejected, by the love interest. Characters on the list typically won't be lusted after by many people, and flaws aren't excused because the character is sexy or attractive.
