my weird next door neighbor is a serial killer!??? despite the premise of this story, it is actually very evenly split between mystery and romance
this is more of a psychological mystery than it is psychological thriller/horror but it’s still deserving of a spot on this list bc the vibes were like no other. also it is sad!!! and sadness messes with my psyche!

AT FIRST, i was like ehhh but then i was like, let me give it a chance…. and i was hooked!! i was encapsulated, totally loving it, and suddenly i was BACKSTABBED by the fucking ending. i dont like the overall message (if there even is one), but something about the plot had me desperate to know what was next. everyone’s lives were so strangely interconnected that it felt almost beautiful(?)(lack of a better word). def enjoyed it more than i thought i would
