Isekai Worth Reading

Crazy fangirl in love with a supporting character isekai's into the novel.
It's funny. The fl has a psychic connection with the prince ml and keeps accidentally sending him her thoughts. Just don't be fooled into thinking this is BL as the fl is crossdressing.
It doesn't rate higher for me as it's a pet peeve when authors go with a crossdressing fl instead of just making it BL and the fl gets annoying after a while. But the story is different and good.

Shapeshifting.

With her nation at war, the 8th princess is charged with being a diversion for her more important siblings and ends up turned into a carrier falcon somehow.

The characters are good. It's funny. I really love the story of the remnants of a kingdom trying to win back the territory they've lost and resurrect. You haven't lived until you've seen a military commander get jealous over a bird imo.

Fangirl gets isekai'd as a commoner. The first life, as an observer, she watches the plot play out and beyond, where everything goes to hell and her bias, the 2ml, suicides.

Now she has a 2nd chance, returning to the point the plot ends. And she's determined this time her bias will live and all who drove him to that point will pay.

So far a fun and satisfying read. Let's see how it goes.

The mc is an amnesiac with a rebellious attitude.
Not much to say about this. The story is stellar, the art is gorgeous, the characters are a joy to read, the death games are interesting, the romantic tension is chefs kiss. This is an easy 5 star for me.

Plot:

Isekai-ish.

Here we see the making of a villainess. The fl is the fake daughter, the result of an affair. She was abused by the family while the real daughter was raised in happiness. The real daughter comes back, and her ahole parents start swapping their identities back, giving all her achievements to her half-sister.

So she decides to run away and get revenge by bringing down the Duchy with magic and skill.

In the original story of each world the mc hops to, the villain has blackened leading to the destruction of the world. In order to prevent this destruction, the mc is tasked with getting the villains favor up to 100% before the blackened stat reaches 100%.

This one has issues with plot conveniences and general silliness. But caters to enough of my tastes to make the list.

Girl gets isekai'd into a novel as the owner of a slave who will eventually become the villain. Unlike most stories of this type, she lacks the power to actually change the plot (though she tries).

I love the mc in this. She's clever, practical and strong. But she has hefty weaknesses. Her trauma both gives her a unique understanding of the villain, as well as an apathetic visage. The love interest? He's cray-cray. We love to see it.
