Strong female leads! Can be physically or mentally. Maybe she's a good fighter, intelligent, persevering, analytical you name it! I want to be able to connect to her and respect her.
So tired of the normal shoujo troupe where the mc is just an air headed, naive idiot. Or a crybaby. Or just doesn't have any depth at all.
Shounen can sometimes have some girls who are good at fighting but then they are sexualised to the point of disrespect and have no personality.

A beautiful MASTERPIECE! She's a fallen princess trying to get revenge on her uncle who murdered her family for the throne. She pretends to be a boy and tries to get an army. It's unlike anything else I've read! The art is so BEAUTIFUL! And the female lead is so incredible! Clever, master at strategy, fights like a goddess!

Love everything about this! One of my absolute favourite female leads and favourite mangas/manhwas of all time! Hong is hardworking, smart and analytical. She can stand up for herself and others when she needs to. Definitely a role model! Other characters are amazing as well. And the author is THE BEST when it comes to "show not tell". Anlgles and expressions show you the feelings and moods better than words ever could. One of the best romances I've read!
