Shounen-ai, drama. MC (uke) is bullied and 'abused' a lot (putting in quotations because everything is not quite what it seems, but he definitely does experience a lot of pain), but he's a strong character, and the seme DOES experience a lot of growth and repents a lot. It's very satisfying, but be prepared to hate him and be stressed out for a while (which only indicates how good of a drama this is, really!)
Psychological, mystery, murder, shounen-ai (haven't seen much romance, but it's ongoing and the plot is very interesting so far!)
It's rare to find psychological mysteries with real crime that are so interesting. The MC is just helpless enough to worry while all the cogs in the machine move around him, but the bits and pieces we're dropped make us question. There is stalking/kidnapping/a genuine murderer lol, but no sexual assault/smut as of where I've read, only interesting criminal dynamics.
Psychological, drama, mystery, sci-fi, shounen-ai, completed. There's a LOT of mind-games, manipulation, and toxic power dynamics/power struggle with the characters, and it's pretty interesting, but the ending was very abrupt and unsatisfying, made it feel kinda empty and meaningless. The story itself was pretty surprising, so if you like toxic but intriguing relationships, this is great for you
