Holy crap, the mc had split personality. Whenever he is in high mental stress or drunk his psychopathic side came out. Mc is a war hero that accidentally become the demon king's joker. He play both side in order to survive. The mc view himself as a weakling but he is actually pretty strong at least technique wise. He is very brutal in combat and everytime his psychopathic side came out the mc totally black out and didn't remember what happen. His back story is pretty saddening too...

Mc is Ann ordinary child who got abducted from the street one day and thrown into an abyss where he needed to survive and trained as an assassin. Many children die in vain in that dark place and many more die once they manage to exit that place. The mc are hell bent on bringing vengeance to all the people responsible for his suffering for more than a decade. Mc is evil, smart and unforgiving. 10/10 recommended.

It wasn't a transmigration story which makes it sadder. Because the child not even 10 years old found out about her fate in a novel she found, she tried so hard to deviate from her fate. She was so desperate for a parental love that neither his fake father nor her biological parents can give her. It's kinda sad.
