- in a bleak future, MC gets the chance to rewind time. he chooses to go all the way back to his birth! with his memories & level up system (that he has access to decades before anyone else) he decides to do his best to stack the odds in his favour— mainly by making bank in the stock market! i have no idea how the economy works but i enjoyed it so i REALLY hope s2 isnt dropped

- when MC realizes that he has been reincarnated as a newborn in a different world, he wastes no time trying to amass strength. the result being MC at five years old, is significantly stronger (physically & magically) than the average adult. the manhwa follows his life but i can’t say more without spoilers. i love how MC’s design changes accurately as he grows up, and in general TBATE is just executed very well!

- the protag who gets stronger because they eat everything is a really common trope of the op mc genre but i think this is probably my favourite iteration of it.. probably because it’s actually about EATING not cooking.. plus MC is impossible to hate and it has frequent funny gag panels. the exact right ratio of comedy to action for a lighthearted shonen manhwa!

- objectively this manhua isn’t that good— the art at the beginning is extremely 2011, there’s a stretch of a hundred chapters were the translations are low quality, except for the MC most of the characters are two dimensional, but you what? i like it Well i like it. specifically the WORLDBUILDING!!!! is so good. the detail and effort and creativity of the magic system make up for all of its faults imo
