- like i said earlier, i’m really picky with my murim webtoons but this one passes the test. although MC is technically already OP at the start of the story, it’s set in a world where being OP isn’t as rare, so it doesn’t get repetitive, and instead the protag continues to grow. plus his powers are the result of a lot of hard work so you can’t help but want to support him! also has lots of comedy & the theme of family is v

- if you want a story that’s mostly funny instead of serious read OSKSR ! people from earth are often isekai’d to this world but the native inhabitants dislike them since earthlings are too strong and arrogant; MC was trapped in the tutorial mode for 22 years so he is even stronger. when he escapes he manages to hide his identity as an earthling. now all he has to do is pretend to be weak

- if you like protags with sung jinwoo’s personality you’ll like the MC of tomb raider king! it’s not the same plot as SL though, TRK has much more focus on history & mythology & world religion. also a great read for those who enjoy tevenge motivated MCs

- a great revenge story! the MC’s brother was a powerful hero in the world of the tower. when he is betrayed by his friends and killed, his twin (the MC) on earth receives his detailed diary of how he climbed the tower. MC uses the diary to go to the tower and become strong so that he can destroy everyone who betrayed his twin. i think the manhwa may be on hiatus but the light novel is still going and i reallyyyy enjoy it!

- MC is someone with incomparable power in the murim world. his enemies realize that they will never be able to kill him, so instead they send MC to another world. as MC adjusts to this new world, he ends up joining a mercernary party and gets caught up in the political upheaval of this new world. honestly this manhwa should be more popular

- this manhwa seems cheesy but it’s worth it!! MC is a low ranked awakened in a reverse isekai world (think SL) when he finds an abandoned VR machine. it ends up transporting him into a murim world where he has no choice but to make use of the level up system to become strong. when he logs out of the VR game, his stats are synced to the real world, giving him the ability of a powerful awakened!
