A slow to develop, yet super adorable relationship between the main characters. The pacing was nearly perfect, and the character development among the main characters was so well done. The realistic nature of their relationship-- which wasn't always fuelled by dramatic and often unnecessary plot devices-- makes the characters so much more relatable. I also loved the art, specifically the way the faces were drawn, which really added that extra touch to the comedic scenes.
So far I haven't come across a more tragic story. The art was very fitting-- it was soft yet pale, almost as if you'd expect sad piano music to play in the background. The slow romantic development between Zhishu and the doctor following a violent, toxic, and loveless relationship (on Jiang's part), all while time was running out for his life, was portrayed so tragically well.
