While reading this i listened to the songs that appeared in the chapters and other 50s and 60s songs, it made the reading experience totally different to anything I've ever read. Maybe what made this stand out the most was the fact that it felt so real. It touched on racism, homosexuality and class differences in a way that felt authentic and not forced. A very pleasant read :)
