I don't understand why people would rate this low just because of the other characters (?). I know some of their personalities are overbearing, but isn't that what makes this interesting? The fact that he is constantly underestimated and underappreciated by others make this more exciting cause it's fun seeing him prove them wrong. As long as none of these people becomes his weakness, I have no complaints.
The art is freaking gorgeous and mc looks good with his fabulous hair. Honestly, I'm not good with digesting stories like this, where a lot of characters die so easily and how there doesn't seem to be a clear end point for the story. However, this is a well-written compelling piece, and it's interesting to see him travel and learn more about both the world and himself.
As someone who has an attention span of a bird, this story took awhile to get my attention. Even though I am fond of stories with kids, this started a little unexciting. Fortunately, as I proceed with the chapters and more characters got introduced, it actually has started becoming interesting.
So good so good. I like how unpredictable this is.
