Gets interesting as you get to about chapter 6-10. I like MCs who have big brains (like megamind) and who can overcome their adversity instead of wallowing in their despairs. Something I should learn to do cause all I want to do is cry and not do my final exams ;((

Umm, badass female MC but it gets pretty angsty, dramatic and confusing midway. I mean c'mon highchool just ain't that intense. But I just couldn't stop reading it and indulging in the drama. I feel like this list is turning into "Shit I Couldn't Stop Reading". I gotta say it's quite hilarious tho.
It delves into Japanese mythology of youkai and dreams. I remember the first chapter triggering the deeply ingrained trauma of my real life shenanigans when the youkai started talking about how humans label things as good and bad. Like, basically half my essays I've written for school are about the good versus evil dichotomy and the "complexity of the human experience" so major PTSD. On a different note, the artwork has a diaphanous vibe and is pretttty :)

Hey since you seem to really enjoy age gaps I highly recommend Takane to Hana. Its ultra hilarious and worth it.
My current isekai jams are the Raeliana one (its complex but gosh, its good), under the oak tree, ellins solhwa, and the best, I'm stanning the prince. Hope you like them too ^^
