I’m not sure how to believe the mc change from utterly beaten and scaredy so fast, but i like her impersonation of « raven » and how she grows to want to defend her innocence
The cast surrounding her is marvelous, a variety of people with strong individuality, mostly far from stereotypes and nicely fleshed out and awesome interactions

Waking up as a character of a novel, our MC has yet to realize it’s her story
Can she live her life being the heroine ? Will she disappear if she believes she doesn’t belong, what can happen of the feelings and friendship she grows into that parallel. Yet very real world and how to keep everyone and everything from there

There are deep criticism of the interactions between genders and male/female stereotypes, archetypes and preconceptions that plague them
It grows some surprising wisdom

remarkable, it has great vibes of « the lake house «  movie with the exchanged letters and the time laps
To that you add a different world of fantasy
The letters are very entertaining and brings lots of depth to very nice characters
The story unfolds many past tragedies, shed light to an uncertain « future «  and twist with several mysteries
Highly entertaining and beautifuly written

30 - is should be a 4+, but i really want to read more like this - very interesting reflection about identity, culture and how not just to keep it, but keep it alive and make it part of life
The characters are sweet and interesting, the art is nice
The real weakness is the absence of story building and tension - the story progress too fast, to easy, without an ounce of emotion stir
So when it’s over, you can’t help wondering : ok, now when does it start ? And you certainly crave for more!
