I always find stories where the MC doesn't care about the villain beyond saving their own necks unsatisfying. I usually have to see a lot more development and growth where the MC starts to genuinely love and becomes devoted to said villain before I start to care for the MC. So I really couldn't care less about this story ╮(￣▽￣)╭ 2/10
