ALL of the characters are amazingly complex and well written with complicated and emotional backstories which enable the creator to create arguably the most phenomenal understanding of each character's psyche and personality. The growth of the main couple's relationship seems to be fairly real and relatable (but frustrating as always . . . kinda hence the title "fools").
