WARNING!! This is a predictably cliche story so far, so much so that I think I'll let it sit for a while until it updates to see where it's going.
Not so much a contract marriage as it is an arranged marriage between two royal houses, but our FL and ML start off with instantly wanting a divorce and work together to sabotage their relationship. It's refreshingly hilarious.
FL turns back time to undo the wrongs she brought on with her own two hands (making her evil brother emperor), and looks for the one that showed her the path and proposes a contract marriage. It's a new series, so hoping this turns into something truly awesome.
Comedy gold! Seriously if you need a laugh read this! An arranged marriage sees a reincarnated character being engaged to a stern faced duke who will do anything to keep her happy (as if she's unhappy her father demands the engagement be terminated). There's misunderstandings and for a once the world traveler ISN'T a love rival! Seriously I love this so much!
Okay, so the "contract" in this case is more like two accomplices trying to keep the other close so one or the other doesn't betray the other. Crown Prince kills the emperor while the FL is about to have her first night with the emperor. In the process of trying to save herself she makes a deal with the crown prince and things progress to her being his wife (which thanks to her not sleeping with the emperor prior can be done). I fully enjoyed this and wholly recommend it.
