Alright so this is necessarily a ‘shitty’ story cause the actual plot is quite interesting but omfg the main characterrrrr... she’s fucking dumb. So fucking dumb that it completely overshadows the story.
She has absolutely no concept of duke’s struggles despite having read the fucking novel in her previous life - common sense girlie, use ur fucking common sense.
They could’ve wrapped this up in about two chapters realistically. Also it’s cliche, I hate this
Half the story is literally just basic GCSE history, it almost feels like the Korean government hired the author to teach kids in a ‘relatable’ fashion. Though it’s not even good enough to help you pass ur exams cause the knowledge is so simplified, plus the romance game is WEAK. She spends too much time looking at sick cretins to advance the snail paced romance
It gets a one star for good storytelling but my god. I can not look over the incest, I’m not about to romanticise that shit - even if they’re not blood related it’s still weird considering they’ve grown up as a family. Why tf out of ALL the men, would u choose the BROTHER as the ml?!
