This is the first non BL manga I am reading, and I am so glad I chose this one. The fact that I am writing this after just 20 chapters should say something. Seriously phenomenal artwork, the action depicted via the panels are so easy to follow and create such awe inspiring scenes. That with the great story-telling makes this feel like I am watching an anime rather than reading something. This will take you on an adventure. Highly recommend this one. UPDATE: it just got better and better!!!
From the beginning this manhwa was at a disadvantage becz I just finished Solo Leveling, and as much as people compared this to it in the comments, I find the story, artwork and delivery very good but just below the high bar set by Solo. But that should also mean this is an amazing and interesting read, full of history, legends, folklore and puzzles. This is an adventurous journey that seems to get better with every chapter.
This is a story of rebirth and second chances. Although cliched as it may seem, the author has done a great job of reflecting it naturally with great insight into discrimination, moral values and key aspects that hold a society together. These elements tying into a fantastic story, about parallel universes, magic and darker beings make this a delight to read. The artwork is flawless. Sort of a slice of life meets adventure and fantasy. I feel like a better person already while reading this.
A great story of rebirth into another time of a different world, and the author takes us through his journey. You can watch him grow up and become stronger step by step. The MC is down to earth and acknowledges his adult mind in the body of a growing child and the author manages to make it a fun and exciting experience. The digital art really compliments the story and it has its comic moments as well. This is one of those where you feel like youve been watching an anime all along.
The art style kept me off this for a long time, but I finally decided to read the first few chapters. Before I knew it, I was in chapter 30 without realizing. The story is that engaging, and the story is deep and complex, like a huge beautiful flower slowly unfurling its petals as it blooms. This is past 480 chapters, and the character development, the side arcs, all come together seamlessly. The art keeps getting better and better as it goes along. One of the best stories I've read to date.
Art: 10/10 Solo vibes. Fight scenes are amazing, and some amazing panels too.
Concept: 10/10 Unique that the MC is the embodiment of evil, but the story is from his perspective. Its fun to see a badass MC embracing his power.
Story: 8/10 So far I've read only a few chapters, but the story has a lot of promise. Its not all linear, but with multiple arcs happening at the same time. Only time will tell whether itll come together nicely.
Recommendation: 10/10
Dont judge this one by the cover lol, this is a great story, its got a badass MC and another wholesome MC as well. The art is amazeballs, the dialogue is on point,(seriously) great character development and theirs enough humour to make you cackle, and yes its mostly the cat. This is a weak to strong, mentor mentee journey that continues to impress as more chapters come along.
Crisp well drawn out art stands out, along with a well established story complemented with dialogue that flows effortlessly. There is timely humour and great character development. The story evolves into an adventure and the badass MC is a delight to watch. Where it shines are it moral messages and life lessons incorporated into the engaging plot. Highly recommended!
Its not an isekai but he does use his twin brother's extensive knowledge. Lots of cool elements to this story that I enjoyed a lot, nothing dragged out, and nothing was repetitive. Beautiful art along with a badass MC was a joy to read. I like how the author used various cultures to incorporate the different elements. If you like Solo Leveling, Tower of God or Beginning After The End, youll definitely like this one.
