Familiars/Animal Sidekicks

Raya is a minor character, BUT the ML does raise and take care of Raya (who is a massive bird). Raya also plays an important role as being the "carrier pigeon" of sorts for our couple.

A gem! I've found a gem! It's like this list was made for this webtoon! Our MC, Ian, resets his character so he can change classes, from an archer to a summoner. That means... SUMMONS! Wonderful animal/monster summons! His first is Lai, a wolf type summons that can evolve and becomes his primary fighting companion for the first part of the story. Next he gets a turtle type and an ice golem. The action is solid and the game world is well thought out (though Lai himself may be a broken character).

I'm putting this here after a lot of thought. He does have animal summons, so in a round about way it does belong here.
Gates have started to open up around the world, causing people to awaken as Hunters that dive into the gates the clear dungeons. Our MC is the weakest of the weak, but due to a horrific incident he becomes a Player and sets out to level up.

A side character is a summoner and summons a wolf/werewolf type monster to help her fight. It seems to building that she might be the primary support female.

Gates are opening around the world and hunters go into clear them. MC gets powered up... somehow. (read solo leveling)
