#character driven #realistic survival idol show and fandom life #can't help but rooting for the MC! #lighthearted read #so funnyyyy and #ADDICTING i swear 5 whole stars
you read orv? you feel intensely for kim dokja? then you definitely will feel the same about park moondae they're literally so tragically and lovably similar, just different character design and different universe. such a good read, reread material. makes you wanna watch in as an anime
"Deeper and cleverer than Solo Leveling. Probably the concept, the logic, and the balance between protagonist's up and down moments. And of course, the narrative! The storytelling itself has a really good pace and well-plotted already. But pair it up with a good narration... BANG! The quality level shoots higher, immediately.
I don't know how many times I gritted my teeth, punched my pillow, kicked the air, even let out weird screeching sounds JUST because of the narration."
a MUST READ of the romance/drama/comedy genre!
both character-wise and story wise, this is very well-written. deep topics but told in a very light and enjoyable way. you literally laugh and cry along with the characters. the art is unique and beautiful, too.
you don't wanna miss reading this.
the story is more #coming of age, #psychological, and #character growth-centric than BL. and so goddamn #realistic, too.
warning #yandere-ish seme.
story-wise: well-written characters, realistic story, has strong narrative and gut-stabbing kind of poetic. also angst
art-wise: pretty + anatomically pleasing art style. beautiful panelling, lighting, and composition. very atmospheric. expressions are so spot on & art carries the storytelling so damn well.
