Although ML is a better baseball player, he idolises MC and will always be supportive of him! This puppy-like seme is unable to go a chapter without giving MC all of his affections, and it seems to give MC confidence and feelings, too. Even the mere thought of offending his partner is enough to make ML cry.
ML is misled into thinking that MC likes him, but later on he becomes suspicious since MC isn't doing much to progress their relationship. Unfortunately, by that point, it's too late—ML has fallen in love! He can't help turning into an excited puppy every time MC visits his workplace or texts him. His face gains starry eyes and goofy smiles.
ML is usually stoic, only becoming cheerful when it comes to MC. No amount of plotting on MC's end can dissuade his love. ML must be immune to embarrassment since he often engages in PDA, and he also buys MC plenty of expensive presents. "Candy Man" is just "Sugar Daddy" in different words, after all.
