I always love childhood friend to lover trope, and with the supernatural and an obsessed seme- you got me!
They got separated not long after they've been together and without the uke knowing, the seme actually stalks him and knows his well-being. It's a bit sad that the uke thinks that he got no one on his side, and an unfortunate things happened that breaks the seme, but he's lucky that the uke is still alive even in a different body.
