They are sweet and loyal to a fault, they grow and become a bit more fierce or dominant as the story goes on, their arc is usually centered on getting their love interest to notice them or becoming more confident as well as showcasing their vulnerable sides, often fluffballs to a fault and when they grow...damn it's just so satisfying!
