Every time I read this I'm reminded of "Miss Not-So-Sidekick", however where that story falls short this one has it in spades. By which I mean there is actual story progress! The otome's "love interests" are incredibly infuriating and you can't help but cheer every time our lovely MC-sama rubs their noses in their short comings. I just can't wait to see this otome's poor FL be swept of her feet by our dashing villainess! 9/10
This MC is quite refreshing with her stoic demeanor and practical attitude. I sure hope she'll reveal herself to be a kuudere. I'm also loving how tender and considerate the ML is towards her. I look forward to her future schemes to crown her chosen emperor. 9/10
(This has enough of the villain/enemy troupe in it that I decided to include it in this list.) It's lovely watching the development of feelings and the growing of the main couples relationship. The determined little MC tries her best to make a happy marriage with her coarse and cold lord husband. It's a nice gentle read that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy. It's also hilarious watching the dueling sides of the Duke switch out x'D 8/10

I'm kinda sad that you called the mc of the story trash of count's family bland well it's your opinion cuz you haven't read the novel but he's a colorful character! Always pretending he doesn't care when he sacrifice himself for his so called slacker life when he does that for everyone!
Don't get me wrong, I really do like Cale's character. He's refreshing, original, and wryly witty in a way which I adore. There's just a lack of true passion about him that I find slightly disappointing (especially with a character as interesting as him) and that's what I mean when I say bland. He rationalizes things to death with only flashes of impulse and his motives aren't something that I can muster any real verve for. I have started reading the novel I just haven't gotten very far ('Remarried Empress' got a hold on me), but you've firmly put it at the forefront of my reading list. I greatly anticipate for Cale's character growth and his unwanted adventures with his motely crew to change my mind. Thanks for your input!
