I've just started reading this, but is it just me or does this story have an appalling lack of logic?
I love, love, love it! This story is engaging and witty, while also maintaining a complexity that you don't usually find in something so lighthearted. The MC is believable and hilarious, I can honestly see myself reacting the same ways if I was in her position. The main couple is dynamic and lovable plus almost all the side characters have perked my interest and I'm actually interested to learn more about them. 9/10
Seems incredibly cute and funny. I totally get the MC not wanting to share such a husband, but I do feel bad that his self-esteem is so low. 5/10
One of the few stories on this list with a male protagonist. I love the vibe of this story, it doesn't feel like your run-of-the-mill shounen because it's so engaging. The MC is a little bland but he's also vastly entertaining in his simplicity and fore thought and stoicism. It's also pretty funny to watch him inadvertently becoming the hero that everyone is devoted to. 8/10
One of my new favorites! A story in the same vein as 'The Villiainess Is Adored by the Crown Prince of the Neighboring Kingdom' but with the more mature air of 'The Abandoned Empress'. The characters are fully fleshed out and you have real empathy for many of them (even if you don't like some). The ending(?) is revealed at the beginning yet you still want to see how things played out. There is some truly great storytelling going on here. 9/10

I'm kinda sad that you called the mc of the story trash of count's family bland well it's your opinion cuz you haven't read the novel but he's a colorful character! Always pretending he doesn't care when he sacrifice himself for his so called slacker life when he does that for everyone!
Don't get me wrong, I really do like Cale's character. He's refreshing, original, and wryly witty in a way which I adore. There's just a lack of true passion about him that I find slightly disappointing (especially with a character as interesting as him) and that's what I mean when I say bland. He rationalizes things to death with only flashes of impulse and his motives aren't something that I can muster any real verve for. I have started reading the novel I just haven't gotten very far ('Remarried Empress' got a hold on me), but you've firmly put it at the forefront of my reading list. I greatly anticipate for Cale's character growth and his unwanted adventures with his motely crew to change my mind. Thanks for your input!
